New Year Brings New Employees to FDTC
Dr. Charles W. Gould, President of Florence-Darlington Technical College, is pleased to announce the appointments of the following new faculty and staff members. Goodman received an Associate of Arts degree in accounting from Long Beach City College in California.
Her previous work experiences include Lead Bookkeeper for Albertson's Grocery, Intermediate Accounting Assistant at Long Beach Unified School District, part time Accounts Receivable Clerk for FDTC and Accounting Technician III for PDRTA.
Eugene "Mitch" House is already a familiar face to many students and staff at FDTC. House was most recently an adjunct business instructor for FTDC and is the new Business and International Instructor, where he will coordinate the College's international programs. House received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Before coming to FDTC, House worked as an adjunct business instructor at Alamance Community College, Division Planning Manager for Burlington Industries, Division Industrial Engineer and Master Scheduler for Glen Raven, Incorporated and Plant Industrial Engineer at Culp, Incorporated.
Another familiar face should be Denise Weaver, who takes the new position of Nursing Hub Director. Weaver was most recently a Media Specialist in the Segars Family Library at the Health Sciences Campus.
Weaver has a Bachelor of Arts in French from Francis Marion University and a Masters of Science in Library Science from the University of South Carolina. Weaver has also worked as a Student Assistant for Florence County Library, Assistant Director and Media Specialist for the Darlington County Library and Secretary and Legal Assistant for Attorney Gena Phillips Ervin.
