Biography: Ms. Edwards is a native of Florence, South Carolina. Since 1998, she has lived and taught in South Carolina. She has been a full-time instructor at FDTC since 2001, teaching both day and evening classes at FDTC, in addition to distance learning and online college courses. She also serves as the Humanities Curriculum Coordinator. In her time away from FDTC, she is a full-time wife and mother. While travel, hiking and reading were once favorite past-times, now coloring books and puzzles, silly songs, the Sprout channel and sunny afternoons at the playground fill non-work hours as she strives to keep up with her daughter. (She is still waiting to introduce her daughter to Tutenstein, which is Ms. Edwards’ favorite silly “history” cartoon.)
