Biography:

Matt Schaffer was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.  He has resided in Florence since 2006.  He has taught at two community colleges, and one four-year institution in New York.  He served in the Navy Reserve.

He is an avid fisherman, a Civil War re-enactor, an auto mechanic, a gardener, and a chef.
