Eligible and Ineligible Programs for Financial Aid
Eligible Programs
All Diploma, Degree, and Certificate programs listed in the College catalog are eligible for financial aid except those listed below under "Ineligible Programs".
Ineligible Programs
- Funeral Service is a Fayetteville Technical College program. The student can receive financial aid at Florence-Darlington Technical College before they transfer to Fayetteville, if they are accepted as an Associate of Science major.
- Health Care Risk Management certificate program is only eligible for the SC Education Lottery Tuition Assistance Program at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
- International Business certificate program is only eligible for the SC Education Lottery Tuition Assistance Program at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
- Occupational Therapy Assistant is a Trident Technical College program. The student can receive financial aid at Florence-Darlington Technical College for the first year of the program, if they are accepted as an Associate of Science major.
- Pharmacy Tech is a Midlands Technical College program. The student can receive financial aid at Florence-Darlington Technical College while he or she is taking prerequisite classes, if they are accepted as an Associate of Science major. Once they begin taking the PHM classes, Midlands Tech disburses the financial aid.
- Physical Therapy Assistant is a Greenville Technical College program. The student can receive financial aid at Florence-Darlington Technical College for the first year, if they are accepted as a Pre-Physical Tech (PPTA) major.
- A student may not receive ANY type of financial aid as an Undeclared Major.
- A Student may not receive ANY type of financial aid for Continuing Education classes.
- Financial Aid does not pay for Audit classes.
