APPLICATION AND ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST
Florence-Darlington Technical College has an open admissions policy; however applicants are requested to submit the following items:

Submit an online application for admission. |

Submit proof of high school graduation or GED Certificate. |

3. |
Submit SAT or ACT scores, if available. If not available, student may need to take the COMPASS Placement Test. Study guides can be found at www.act.org/compass/sample/index.html. |

To receive transfer credit, submit OFFICIAL college transcripts for all post-secondary courses you have completed |

5. |
Complete the FAFSA online or mail in the FAFSA form to the U.S. Department of Education. |
When all items are received by the Admissions Office, an admissions specialist will evaluate the file and determine the acceptance status. An acceptance letter will be mailed when this process is completed and the student will be eligible to enroll for classes.
Financial Aid
Students who wish to apply for federal Financial Aid, must complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA forms may be obtained online at www.fafsa.gov. It takes 4-6 weeks to complete the FAFSA application process, so applicants should file the FAFSA at least two months prior to the start of the semester if they would like to receive aid. Assistance in completing the FAFSA may be received in the Success Center (Room 5313 of the 5000 Building) or the Financial Aid Office in the 100 Building. The FAFSA must also be completed to receive South Carolina Lottery Tuition Assistance.
