Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program

CCAMPIS assists low-income students with child care expenses. The mission of this federally funded grant program is to promote and support student achievement while attending Florence-Darlington Technical College. Students who have been accepted in the program choose from independent facilities located off-campus.

Meet Jozie Black-Giovannini, FDTC student, SGA president, and parent of two children. She’s able to be a full-time student because she has dependable childcare while she’s in college through CCAMPIS.

Eligibility

• Must be Pell Grant eligible
• Must be a new, currently enrolled, or returning student
• Must remain enrolled throughout the entire semester
• Must be the primary caregiver of a child from infancy through 12 years of age

Program Requirements

• Be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student
• Maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA
• Complete 3 volunteer hours per semester
• Attend 2 workshops per semester
• Attend the annual program orientation and participate in an individual meeting with the Program Director
• Complete the annual program survey
• Complete the post-graduation survey (graduating students only)

2. Complete the following forms: Application, Eligibility and Consent Form, Verification Form, Participation Agreement, & Daycares/After-Schools Approved List
3. Sign and date all documents
4. Save this document for your records and future use
5. Email all completed and signed forms to ccampis@fdtc.edu
