Corporate & Workforce Development

Corporate & Workforce Development promotes economic growth and workforce development in the Pee Dee by providing highly trained skilled workers to meet specific workforce needs. CWD accomplishes this through individual training, organizational and corporate training, and through apprenticeship programs.

For individuals considering a career change, wanting to acquire new job skills, or staying current in your field CWD has great teachers and flexible schedules.

For employers seeking company wide job training programs, apprenticeship opportunities, and industry specific training we have a variety of tools to help your business.

Credit vs Non-credit Classes

Corporate & Workforce Development classes are designed for non-degree seeking adults who desire specific skills to enhance their working lives, need continuing education hours, or are life-long learners. The classes offered often lead to a certification in a specific area rather than a degree. Please compare FDTC’s degree and non-degree offerings carefully.
