Program overview

This course includes Medical Coding, Medical Insurance and Medical Coding Exam review. The Medical Coding Series will help develop and strengthen coding and insurance reimbursement skills for careers in the medical offices and hospitals. This knowledge is essential for anyone in medical records, processing insurance claims, assigning codes to medical diagnosis and conditions and registering patients. You may take courses separately or upon successful completion of the entire series, you will have met the prerequisites to qualify for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam given by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
