Types of Financial Aid
Grants and Scholarships
You may receive Grant or Scholarship money as part of your financial aid award. These are Federal, State, and Private funds that do not have to be repaid unless you completely withdraw from all your courses. Your eligibility for Grants is determined once you have completed the FAFSA.
Work Study Program
The Federal Work-Study program provides students with part-time employment at the College. The flexible hours allow you to work around your class schedule.
Student Loans
The Stafford Loan and Parent Plus Loan are federal loans awarded through the financial aid office. The loans can be used to help cover education-related expenses. The loans do have to be repaid, however, repayment can be deferred when the student is enrolled in six credit hours or more.
