Program overview
This program trains automotive technicians to diagnose, service and repair automobiles and light trucks. Many individuals seeking training in Automotive Technology expect to work as Automotive Service Technicians. Automotive service technicians and mechanics, often called service technicians or service techs, inspect, maintain, and repair cars and light trucks. In addition to repair technicians, others who receive this training find employment in various positions within the transportation industry.
