McLeod Health has graciously donated $75,000 to the Florence-Darlington Technical College Nursing program.

“McLeod has been an exceptional partner to Florence-Darlington Technical College, and their continued investment in our Nursing program demonstrates a strong commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals,” FDTC Interim President Dr. Debbie Cheek said. “Thanks to initiatives like this, our students will have greater opportunities to succeed both in the classroom and throughout their careers.”

Nursing is the largest healthcare profession in the nation and makes up the biggest segment of hospital staff. As the population ages, often experiencing more complex health issues than younger individuals, the demand for additional nurses continues to grow.

Florence-Darlington Technical College offers an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) that allows students to prepare for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in five semesters after completing the required prerequisite coursework.
